Dr. Bev Fredborg, CPsych

Dr. Bev Fredborg is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Winnipeg. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University. She is a clinical psychologist registered in Ontario, Canada.
Her research focuses on emotion regulation in individuals with mental health concerns related to emotion dysregulation, such as borderline personality disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder.

Sara is an undergraduate neuroscience student at the University of Winnipeg.

Jordan’s research interests include emotion regulation, sexuality, and women’s mental health. In her free time she enjoys reading, going on walks, and trying new restaurants.
She completed her honours thesis (2024-2025) under Dr. Fredborg’s supervision.

Her research interests include emotion regulation, anxiety, and traumatic brain injuries. I enjoy spending my free time engaging in outdoor activities.

Adi Keynan
Adi is entering her final year of her B.A. Honours Psychology degree. Her research interests include trauma, psychosis, and addictions. With the hopes of further understanding how different lived experiences such as these can influence emotion regulation and coping strategies. Adi’s hobbies mainly revolve around being outdoors, and when the weather permits, she loves going for runs, taking her dog for walks, and going camping. She is also a coffee enthusiast!
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Ardita Ibrahimaj
Ardita holds a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Winnipeg, where she currently serves as a lab instructor for PSYC-2900L and PSYC-2102L in the Department of Psychology. In addition to her teaching role, she is actively involved in interdisciplinary research across the Psychology, Kinesiology, and Chemistry departments.
SENIOR RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Zainab is an International medical graduate with a strong background in public health and clinical research. She has contributed to studies in mental health, infectious diseases, and health systems strengthening, with a focus on vulnerable populations.
